Senior Conveyancing Assistant Position

CLD Recruitment (Leeds) Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Conveyancing Assistant to join their team in East Leeds.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Managing the administration of conveyancing transactions, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
  2. Collaborating with fee earners to handle client communications, estate agent interactions, and other stakeholders throughout the conveyancing process.
  3. Maintaining client engagement by providing regular updates on transaction progress via email, phone, and in-person meetings.
  4. Onboarding new clients, including ID verification, admin risk assessments, and client instruction processing.
  5. Reporting any potential compliance risks or suspicious activities to line management immediately.
  6. Assisting in ordering searches and drafting contracts to support the conveyancing process.
  7. Responding to client inquiries regarding sales.
  8. Supporting fee earners with contract exchanges and completions.
  9. Facilitating registration and post-completion tasks as required.
  10. Closing client files in a timely and organized manner.
  11. Maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to data protection regulations.
  12. Utilizing case management systems effectively to ensure client matters are organized and easily accessible.
  13. Staying up-to-date with ongoing training and professional development to maintain CPD requirements.
  14. Providing guidance and support to junior team members in their roles.
  15. Offering administrative and secretarial assistance to the department as needed.
  16. Contributing to the overall efficiency and smooth operation of the office.
