About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our dynamic team in the Children's Haematology and Oncology Service at Leeds General Infirmary. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in the management and care coordination of children and teenagers receiving ambulatory chemotherapy.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of a sustainable ambulatory chemotherapy service model
  • Work closely with the Matron and Lead Children & Teenage Cancer Nurse to identify and address the needs of patients and families
  • Provide education and support to children, teenagers, and their families, as well as professionals who care for them
  • Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and delivery
