Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and trustworthy Female Support Worker to provide support to a 9-year-old girl with health issues, including a tracheostomy, in the Durham area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the child in school with a tracheotomy, performing tasks as needed.
- Provide care and assistance to the child with daily living activities.
- Work collaboratively with the child's healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes.
- Develop and maintain a positive relationship with the child, their family, and other professionals involved in their care.
Requirements:
- Reliable and trustworthy individual with a patient and understanding approach.
- Experience of working with children and tracheostomy care is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- Enhanced DBS is essential prior to employment, and the cost of this will be met by the employer.
Working Hours:
The required hours are 32 hours and 55 minutes per week, with the employer being extremely flexible in relation to working hours and days.
Wage:
£12 per hour
