Job Overview

Vickerstock is working in partnership with a leading civil and structural engineering firm to recruit a Health & Safety Coordinator.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the CDM Regulations, reviewing health and safety information, and conducting site inspections as needed.

About the Job

  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure compliance with the Principal Designer role
  • Provide expert guidance on CDM and H&S matters to project team members
  • Develop and maintain health and safety files and pre-construction information
  • Conduct site visits and review contractors' construction phase plans
  • Attend design team/client meetings and represent the company

Your Skills and Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role within the industry
  • Hold NEBOSH General or Construction certification
  • Awareness of health and safety/CDM legislation and its application
  • Strong knowledge of CDM regulations and best practices
  • Exceptional communication and IT skills
  • Valid full driving license and reliable transportation
