Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum

This position requires the ability to conduct enforcement, investigation, and advisory duties to promote health standards and address community needs. Key responsibilities include:

  • Health Improvement: Promote health standards through enforcement, investigation, and advisory duties to address community needs.
  • Project Management: Manage daily tasks effectively to meet deadlines, contribute to team objectives, and participate in structured professional development.
  • Community and Interagency Collaboration: Work with diverse organizations to achieve service goals, enhance community well-being, and support public health initiatives.

Essential Criteria:

  • Qualifications: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Health, accredited by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Certification: Registration with the Environmental Health Officers' Registration Board (EHORB) or Chartered Institute of Environmental Health as an Environmental Health Practitioner (EHP), or willingness to complete this within 18 months.
  • Driver's License: Full, current driving license for Northern Ireland and access to a vehicle for official duties.
  • Work Planning: Ability to independently manage workload and prioritize tasks effectively.
