Activity Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Activity Coordinator to join our team at Cottenham Court Care Home in Cambridge. As an Activity Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating a vibrant and engaging atmosphere for our residents, planning and delivering activities that promote their physical and mental well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver a range of activities, including arts and crafts, baking, book clubs, and pub quizzes, to cater to the diverse interests of our residents.
  • Work closely with our care teams to create tailored activity plans that meet the needs and preferences of our residents.
  • Organize birthday surprises and special events for our residents, making their day extra special.
  • Liaise with external companies and performers to arrange days out and events at the home.
  • Support the home with their social media channels, sharing updates and engaging with our community.
Requirements:
  • A creative thinker with a passion for making a difference in the lives of others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, care teams, and external partners.
  • Ability to manage budgets and maintain paperwork, prioritizing tasks as needed.
