Job Summary

Rubicon Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Site Planning Specialist to join their team on a 12-month contract in Fife, Scotland.

This exciting opportunity will involve overseeing the Construction phase of projects, utilizing project management tools to develop and improve programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing reports, ensuring live accurate data is received, and liaising with procurement and expediting teams to deliver materials and equipment on time.

Responsibilities
  1. To ensure that construction activities are executed according to plan and budget, identifying and mitigating potential risks and delays.
  2. To collaborate closely with subcontractors to monitor progress, address any issues promptly, and inform the project team of potential impacts on the program.
  3. To maintain accurate records of construction activity, report on progress, and provide recommendations for improvements.
  4. To participate in weekly meetings with the project team to discuss progress, identify areas for improvement, and ensure alignment with overall project objectives.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in project planning using bespoke planning programs.
  • Strong background in major construction or industrial project planning, preferably with EPC delivery knowledge.
  • Familiarity with NEC Contract requirements and MS Office (specifically MS Word & MS Excel).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
