Job Description

As a Governance and Reporting Lead at Thames Water, you will play a critical role in supporting the Head of OPAL Business Planning in developing, monitoring, and providing governance for projects, programs, and initiatives within OPAL.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Governance: Monitor and manage reporting of program performance against plan, establish and maintain frameworks and standards for program and project management, and provide capacity planning and resource tracking services.
  • Risk Management: Record and maintain risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and opportunities, prepare regular updates and progress reports, and present a risk overview to senior leadership.
  • Performance Reporting: Work with data owners to identify and format required data, collaborate with data and reporting leads/analysts to ensure robust performance reporting, and facilitate slide pack creation and updates.
  • Management of Administration: Ensure governance documentation is maintained, work collaboratively with data analysts and finance business partners to maintain project forecasts and actuals, and maintain project spaces.
Requirements
  • Essential: Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, and Visio.
  • Desirable: Qualification in PMO or relevant project management subjects, experience working in a PMO or reporting function, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Salary: Up to £46,900 per annum, depending on experience and skills.
  • Location: Hybrid Kemble Court, Reading, RG2 6AD.
