Job Summary:

We're looking for a dedicated professional to lead our Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) compliance efforts. As a Safety and Compliance Specialist, you'll be responsible for ensuring our operations comply with all relevant regulations, laws, and industry standards. You'll work closely with our site team and external support functions to promote a culture of safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain compliance with SHE policies, procedures, and management systems.
  • Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate potential hazards.
  • Conduct regular site audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the site team to develop and implement safe work systems and procedures.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on SHE best practices and procedures.
  • Coordinate and facilitate SHE risk assessments and investigations.
  • Ensure all routine SHE monitoring is completed in accordance with relevant legislation.

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH qualification is essential.
  • Experience working with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 Management Systems is desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of SHE regulations and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
