**Job Description**

We are seeking an experienced Estate Administration Professional to join our team at Howard Kennedy.

**About the Role**

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual to take on a challenging role in estate administration. As an Estate Administration Professional, you will be responsible for administering a broad range of estates from straightforward to complex cases with international aspects.

Your duties will include liaising with personal representatives, ascertaining assets and liabilities, assisting with new enquiries, and supporting the estate accountant in preparing estate accounts. You will also be responsible for making applications for the grant of representation, supervising junior members of the team, and participating in business development and client relationship management activities.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a good level of tax knowledge necessary for estate administration, experience of advising UK domiciled and international clients on various aspects of estate planning, and the ability to supervise junior colleagues. You should also have strong intellectual and analytical abilities, excellent written and oral communication skills, and experience of drafting and technical research.

In addition, you will need to have good commercial understanding, the ability to apply legal principles to client circumstances in a commercially aware manner, effective management of client expectations, and high levels of client service. Good organisational skills, record keeping, and file management are also essential.
