Job Title:

Accounts Administrator

Our client, a professional services provider based in Tamworth, is seeking an experienced Accounts Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the accounts department.

About the Role:

The Accounts Administrator will work closely with the accounts team to manage the general ledger, assist with account reconciliations, and record financial transactions using Xero and SIMPRO software. Additionally, the role involves addressing finance-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders, processing payroll, employee expense claims, and time sheets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the management of the general ledger and assisting with account reconciliations.
  • Recording financial transactions in the accounting system, Xero, and job management software, SIMPRO.
  • Addressing finance-related inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Helping to process payroll, employee expense claims, and time sheets.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience working in an Accounts Assistant or Administrative role, with a basic understanding of Outlook and Microsoft Office. A basic knowledge of Xero would also be beneficial. You will be joining a dynamic and friendly accounts team where you will be providing essential support to the department.
