Nursery Room Leader

Nursery People is seeking an experienced and dedicated Nursery Room Leader to join our team in a central London location. As a key member of our nursery team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the day-to-day running of your room is efficient, safe, and child-centred.
Key Responsibilities- Curriculum Development: Oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
- Team Management: Manage a team of nursery practitioners, providing guidance, support, and mentoring to ensure best practice and a high standard of care.
- Parent and Carer Relationships: Build strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed of their child's progress and ensuring they feel part of their child's early education journey.
- Safety and Wellbeing: Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in your care, conducting regular risk assessments, and maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
- A full and recognised Level 3 qualification in Childcare.
- Proven experience in an early years setting, ideally in a leadership or supervisory role.
- A passion for working with young children and a deep understanding of child development.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with staff, children, and parents.
