Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Service Centre Administrator to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a passion for security and customer service to make a meaningful impact.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring the security helpdesk inbox and phone on a rota basis, providing timely 1st line security support and escalating queries to the Security Service Centre Lead.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring the security helpdesk inbox and phone on a rota basis to provide timely 1st line security support.
  • Providing recruitment advice to Human Resources and hiring managers regarding security related issues.
  • Processing pre-employment screening checks against the Cabinet Office Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS).
  • Monitoring employees' Security and Immigration status, ensuring validity and facilitating renewals.
  • Maintaining accurate security records within the Security databases.
  • Supporting the Security Induction process and other security education and awareness initiatives.
  • Providing travel security advice and guidance to personnel.
  • Completing Service Access approvals for access to Leidos systems and databases.
  • Processing leavers from the business in line with Security processes.
