As a Regional Finance Business Partner at Algeco UK, you will play a key role in supporting the Regional Director/MD and their teams on all finance-related matters. Your primary focus will be on providing financial analysis and insights to drive business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:- Interpret monthly management accounts to provide meaningful analysis and commentary against budgets, forecasts, and previous years' performance.
- Own specific P&L lines for a comprehensive business view and provide analysis and challenge on the utilisation of the rental fleet, rental rates, transport rates, and 360 products.
- Prepare monthly regional/OBU trading and reporting packs with appropriate league tables for depot and sales performance by salesperson.
- Develop quarterly forecasts and annual budgets for all depots and regional functions, delivering insight and analysis to identify and communicate long-term trends to key stakeholders.
- Support the identification and implementation of initiatives across the business, including preparing business cases with robust financial models.
- Provide robust financial analysis of the Delivery & Installation part of the P&L and help identify cost-saving or margin-enhancing opportunities.
- Monitor maintenance costs per unit and challenge production efficiency in the end-to-end yard process to drive optimal cost per unit type.
- Support the financial accounting teams by providing operational insight into the month-end numbers and supplementary analysis required for external reporting.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to manipulate large data sets.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong commercial acumen.
