Telecommunication Engineer

The Telecommunication Engineer will be responsible for providing technical solutions for customers and SMEs on all radio engineering tasks. This includes designing and building bespoke technical solutions in line with customer requirements, providing technical assurance to customers, and preparing CODEPLUGS/FLEET Plans for customer requirements (Motorola & Hytera).
The successful candidate will have experience in RF propagation, strong IT skills, and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. They must also be SC cleared or able to refresh their clearance without issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build bespoke technical solutions in line with customer requirements.
- Provide technical assurance to customers.
- Preparation of CODEPLUGS/FLEET Plans for customer requirements (Motorola & Hytera).
- Installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of telecommunication equipment from different vendors: Hytera, Motorola, Tait, Simoco, Kenwood, and Icom.
- Site maintenance and servicing.
- Faults management with log analysis, defects debug, and work-around responsibility.
Salary Estimate: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
