Job Title: Health and Social Care Educator

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health and Social Care Educator to join our team at Elizabeth School of London Limited. As a key member of our academic staff, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning programs in Health and Social Care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging and effective teaching materials for students studying Health and Social Care.
  • Provide high-quality support to students, including one-to-one tutorials and group sessions.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of Health and Social Care programs, working closely with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Participate in the creation of module/unit-specific Scheme of Work and develop module materials.
  • Deliver subject-specific sessions in line with Learning Outcomes and syllabuses of modules.
  • Deploy assessments appropriately and establish measures to understand the learning needs of students.
  • Support students with timely formative feedback and mark and provide summative feedback within prescribed deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with expectations of Programme Specification of respective Awarding Bodies and Universities.
  • Produce appropriate module/unit reports and contribute to the School's Research Department.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree and/or a PhD in the relevant area.
  • Teaching qualifications: PGCHE, MA in HE Practice, or FHEA, etc.
  • Previous lecturing experience for similar courses at the Higher Education level.
  • Proficiency in utilizing Blackboard/VLEs, MS Teams, and Zoom.
