Job Title: Full-time SEND Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a special school in the Truro area.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide general classroom support and 1-1 support to students with complex needs, including ASD, SLD, PMLD, and SEMH.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide general classroom support to students with complex needs
  • Offer 1-1 support to students as required
  • Work closely with classroom teachers to provide additional support and consistency
  • Be proactive in supporting students with their learning and well-being
Requirements:
  • Experience working with students with complex needs
  • Ability to provide general classroom support and 1-1 support
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
