We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiac Surgical Fellow to join our team at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust. As a Cardiac Surgical Fellow, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our cardiac surgical services.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong background in cardiac surgery, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in the field. You will be responsible for working closely with our cardiac surgical team to provide expert care to patients undergoing cardiac surgery. This will include participating in operative procedures, pre-operative assessment, and post-operative management.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in operative procedures, including cardiac surgery and pre-operative assessment
- Contribute to post-operative management and care of patients
- Work closely with the cardiac surgical team to provide high-quality patient care
- Develop and maintain expertise in cardiac surgery, including congenital heart disease and paediatric cardiac surgery
- Full GMC registration with license to practice
- At least 3 years' experience in cardiac surgery
- Up-to-date with Paediatric Life Support
- FRCS
