Join our team at Island Health as a Addiction Medicine Physician in Victoria We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to provide General Practitioner (GP) Addiction Medicine Services to clients with complex medical conditions.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in assessing and treating patients with substance use disorders, as well as managing chronic medical conditions. A strong understanding of addiction medicine principles, including pharmacological interventions and behavioral therapies, is essential for this role.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our program Psychiatrist, referring patients to specialists when needed, and continuing psychiatric medications as required. We estimate the annual salary for this position to be around $280,000-$330,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
