Job Description

Austin Fraser is currently recruiting for a Support Specialist for SEMH to join their team at a KS1-3 SEMH School. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing learning and behaviour support to students with complex needs and social, emotional mental health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside the class teacher and other TAs to support pupils with everyday school life
  • Develop and implement individualised learning plans to cater to students' diverse needs
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students experiencing social, emotional, and mental health difficulties

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or supporting individuals with SEND
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary and Benefits:

  • $25-$32 per hour (estimated salary based on location and experience)
