Our client, a top 25 global freight forwarder, is seeking a dedicated Outside Sales Representative to work from their Manchester branch. This sales role is key to delivering new air and ocean freight business and requires a strong global logistics background to generate and secure new business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a sales pipeline to meet or exceed commercial goals
  • Deliver new air and ocean freight business through consultative sales techniques and customer engagement
  • Collaborate with operations, procurement, and accounts to deliver results
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through tender submissions and quotations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to provide mutual benefit and positive customer experiences

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience within Freight Forwarding in Air & Ocean logistics
  • Proven track record of success in new business development and sales
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
