About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Tutor to join our dynamic team at Stoneacre Motor Group. As a Technical Tutor, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality training programs to our learners, ensuring they achieve their qualifications and develop the skills needed to succeed in their chosen field.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, develop, deliver, assess, and evaluate high-quality training programs.
  • Deliver training and assess learners as part of their qualification to ensure a successful outcome in line with contractual requirements and targets.
  • Set, assess, and record learners' work, including practical assessment, assignments, examination, and coursework assessments.
  • Carry out all theory and practical training and action planning with learners, maintaining up-to-date and accurate learner and program documentation.
  • Undertake health and safety checks for learners on program.
  • Work as part of a team developing appropriate teaching and learning materials to support learners.
  • Take an active part in the quality improvement systems and procedures, contributing to the self-assessment and quality improvement plans.
  • Complete learner qualifications with a timely achievement and prepare learners for end-point assessment.
  • Provide comprehensive information, advice, and guidance to ensure learners are given clear direction regarding the apprenticeship, job outcomes, and careers within their chosen field.
  • Have excellent organizational and planning skills to ensure all deadlines are met and internal MIS are maintained and up to date.
  • Teach and deliver maths and English to stretch and challenge exempt apprentices.
About You
  • Automotive/Technical qualification at Level 3.
  • Master technician qualification desirable but not essential.
  • Ideally Functional Skills or equivalent to level 2.
  • F-Gas and electric vehicle qualifications desirable but not essential.
  • Previous training experience not essential as full training will be given.
  • Experienced vehicle technician with knowledge of modern-day vehicle systems and diagnostic procedures.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of occupational competence areas.
  • Proven experience of improving and maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
