About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Account Planner to join our team at Galliford Try Group. As a key member of our Planning team, you will be responsible for providing a complete construction planning service at pre-qualification, pre-construction, and construction stages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain detailed tender construction programmes from first principles, including method statements for bid submissions.
  • Provide a contract planning service, including contract programmes, target programmes, close-out programmes, and procurement schedules, monitoring progress and attending progress meetings.
  • Promote the company at pre-qualification, tender, and contract interviews, presentations, and meetings.
  • Conduct research into new and innovative building techniques and advise the Lead Planner and tender/contract teams on potential applications and benefits.
  • Undertake independent project progress reporting, analyzing outcomes and providing feedback to project teams and senior management.
  • Assess requirements and provide comprehensive scaffold, hoist, and crane schedules for obtaining competitive and realistic quotations.
  • Provide information release schedules to the contract team.
  • Compile comparative programmes for substantiation of claims or disputes.
  • Collaborate with the tendering and project teams.
  • Support and mentor junior members of the team.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a working knowledge or experience of construction planning, either through live job experience or training. You should be able to manage multiple project programmes simultaneously and have a good understanding of individual Health and Safety responsibilities.
