Job Summary:

Randstad Care is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our Disability Team in East Lothian. As a Social Worker, you will be responsible for conducting assessments and reviews to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough assessments and reviews to identify the needs of children and young people
  • Developing and implementing care plans to meet the needs of children and families
  • Providing support and guidance to children, families, and carers to promote positive outcomes
  • Collaborating with multi-agency teams to deliver effective interventions and services
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • Member of the PVG scheme
  • Degree in Social Work or equivalent
  • Member of the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)
  • Experience working with children and families in a social work setting
