We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Equipment Technician to join our Southwest field service team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the routine servicing and maintenance of a vast range of construction and earthmoving equipment.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in plant and construction equipment, with experience in hydraulic systems and routine maintenance. You will be proactive, self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent communication skills and a strong ability to manage time effectively are essential. A competitive salary, company vehicle, laptop and phone are offered to the successful candidate.
Main Responsibilities:
- Routine servicing of construction equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
- Regular lubricant and fluid monitoring and replenishment.
- Preventative maintenance and fault reporting.
- Cleaning, inspecting and preparing plant for transfer or redeployment.
- Fitting replacement parts and working alongside other team members on larger maintenance tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Full driving license.
- Good mechanical knowledge and experience of plant and construction equipment.
- Understanding of risk assessments and method statements.
