Live In Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a kind and caring individual to join our team as a Live In Support Worker based in West Hampstead. As a member of our Care in the Home division, you will support clients with spinal cord injury, neurological, and acquired brain injury to live independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting, as well as moving and handling, domestic tasks, and social activities.
  • Support clients with complex needs, including those with spinal cord injury and neurological conditions.
  • Work on a rolling rota, with assignments typically 2 weeks long, to ensure continuity of care for our clients.

Requirements:

  • Kind and caring nature, with a strong desire to support individuals with complex needs.
  • Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to commit to regular work to ensure continuity of care.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to hold conversations with clients and support them with their daily needs.
  • Ability to share interests and engage in activities with clients, such as swimming.
  • Ability to pick up skills and tasks quickly and use initiative to support clients.
