Community Outreach Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic team player to further develop and deliver our widening participation and outreach programme. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues in the BSMS Admissions Team to deliver existing widening participation (WP) and outreach activity, including the highly respected BrightMed programme.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join our diverse and collaborative research community at the University of Sussex. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development and delivery of our outreach and widening participation programme, working closely with colleagues to achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver outreach and widening participation activities, including the BrightMed programme
- Work closely with colleagues in the BSMS Admissions Team to deliver existing WP and outreach activity
- Contribute to the development of our outreach and widening participation strategy
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve our outreach and widening participation goals
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of widening participation and outreach principles, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
