Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and supportive individual to join our team as a Female Support Companion. The successful candidate will work with a young adult with an acquired brain injury, providing companionship and support to help her navigate daily life. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, able to build positive relationships with our clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide companionship and support to the client, helping her to maintain her independence and engage in activities she enjoys
  • Assist the client with daily tasks, such as meal preparation and household chores
  • Accompany the client to appointments and social events
  • Support the client in her academic pursuits, including attending university classes and studying
  • Develop and maintain a positive and supportive relationship with the client and her family

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Driver's license is an advantage
  • Good professional and personal references
