About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quest Designer to join our Fable team at Playground Games. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for crafting engaging and immersive quests that bring our game world to life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop quests that align with the project vision and game mechanics
  • Collaborate closely with other disciplines, including narrative, environment art, level design, and game design teams
  • Mentor less experienced designers and assist with the onboarding of new team members
  • Drive team progress with a proactive mindset and provide internal feedback and documentation

Requirements

  • 4 years of experience in quest/level/mission design, with a track record of quality in at least one published title (ideally AAA)
  • Ability to develop lasting relationships in a collaborative team with diverse perspectives
  • Knowledge of key quest and open-world gameplay design concepts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Genuine passion for video games
  • Experience in the RPG genre is a plus
