Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing company financial tasks such as managing receivables and ensuring all company invoices are properly recorded, tracked, approved, and paid.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process
  • Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, suppliers ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable
  • Paying regular bills for our clients
  • Maintaining company ledgers, reconciliation, and journals
  • Preparation and submission of VAT returns
  • Compile and update all production finance information (production budget, cost reports, cash flow, and edit schedules)
  • Handling client invoices by recording and approving or denying the payments
  • Invoicing deliveries and paying vendors for their goods and services
  • Preparing purchase orders in accordance with requests for materials
  • Recording cash receipts and handling bank deposits
  • Maintaining petty cash
  • Correspondence and meetings with clients
  • Providing administrative and clerical support as needed
Requirements:
  • Proven bookkeeping experience
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
  • Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records
  • Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of Accounting Principles
  • Strong time-management and multitasking abilities
