Financial Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team at We'll Mind Your Own Business Ltd. in East Sussex. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial activities of our clients across various industries, including Film and TV.
About the Role- Manage company financial tasks such as receiving payments and ensuring all invoices are recorded, tracked, approved, and paid.
- Work closely with financial professionals, management, and external vendors to ensure accurate payment and financial transaction processing.
- Record day-to-day financial transactions, verify postings, and maintain ledgers, reconciliations, and journals.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns, compile production finance information, and handle client invoices.
- Provide administrative and clerical support as needed, and travel to location offices when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management: Oversee the financial operations of our clients, ensuring timely and accurate payments, and maintaining financial records.
- Transaction Processing: Record, track, and reconcile financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit financial reports, including VAT returns, and provide insights to inform business decisions.
- A competitive salary range of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
