About the Role:

The SANZA Teaching Agency is seeking a dedicated and caring Special Needs Educational Support Worker to join their team. This role will involve working with students who have severe learning difficulties (SLD) in a KS3 class.

As a Special Needs Educational Support Worker, you will provide one-to-one support to students, helping them access learning materials and fully engage in activities. You will also encourage social interaction, assist with behaviour management, and work closely with the school's inclusion team to implement individualized strategies.

This is a full-time position, and you will be expected to work collaboratively with teachers to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

About the School:

The school caters to students aged from Reception to Year 14 who have moderate to severe and complex learning difficulties as a primary need or as a dual diagnosis to their medical, sensory and/or physical needs.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to be strong, confident, and caring, with a keen interest in positively impacting the lives of young people with special needs. You will also need to be willing to work with challenging behaviour and be flexible and willing to take on all challenges.

You should have experience in a special needs setting and be able to provide dedicated support in all classes. You will also need to work closely with the school's inclusion team to implement individualized strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
