Procurement Manager

About the Role:
Peregrine is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for formulating and executing robust procurement strategies within a complex commercial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and execute procurement strategies to secure optimal terms and conditions with premier suppliers.
- Engage in high-level negotiations with suppliers to guarantee timely and cost-efficient acquisition of goods and services.
- Leverage expertise to assess and select suppliers based on quality, cost efficiency, and reliability.
- Ensure comprehensive understanding, management, and communication of supply chain risks to senior stakeholders and internal teams.
- Proactively identify and capitalize on opportunities for process enhancement within procurement and administrative operations.
- Integrate industry best practices to elevate efficiency and operational effectiveness.
- Optimize resource utilization by streamlining workflows for both individual and team performance.
- Ensure procurement activities adhere to relevant laws and regulations.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Experience working within a procurement and supply chain environment.
- Possess a high standard of procurement competence in key areas of sourcing, process knowledge, contracting skills, and supplier management.
- Negotiation skills that drive positive business outcomes and ability to influence at all levels.
- Project management skills, product awareness, commercial acumen, financial awareness, risk, and opportunity management.
- CIPS L4/5 qualification, working towards or equivalent standard is desired.
- Must either hold Security Clearance or be a UK national eligible to obtain necessary clearances.
