An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Research Governance and Integrity Team at Imperial College London as a Clinical Trials Manager.

About the Role:

The Research Governance and Integrity Team is responsible for the processing and management of a large portfolio of clinical research in relation to regulation, national framework compliance, and NHS Trust R&D approval. As a Clinical Trials Manager, you will work within a research compliance team dedicated to ensuring that clinical trials are initiated and managed in line with legal and organisational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team dedicated to the management and oversight of clinical trial activity within the AHSC.
  • Be the first point of contact for researchers at the site who require clinical trials support.
  • Continuously develop and oversee trial governance systems required through joint working with Imperial College NHS Trust.

Requirements:

  • Thorough knowledge of clinical trial regulation and requirements.
  • Experience of working within a large and complex research organisation.
  • Sound understanding of administrative procedures.
  • Ability to prioritise conflicting tasks and meet operational deadlines.
  • Proven communication skills and experience of database systems.
