Senior Quantity Surveyor - Cladding Remediation

Blaymires Recruitment Ltd is working with a specialist Facade Contractor who is searching for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team. The company operates as a Principal Contractor, specialising in facade remediation works, delivering projects from rainscreen cladding replacements to internal fire-stopping projects worth up to £20 million.

The company is exceptionally busy, with a large number of new projects starting throughout London between now and 2025. At present, they are looking for Quantity Surveyors to join their London projects, where they are carrying out a large cladding remediation and fire stopping project worth £20 million.

The company will consider either a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor from a main contracting or cladding/facade background.

The Role of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:
  1. Responsible for the financial control of projects valued from £5 million to £20 million.
  2. Applications for payment in accordance with contract terms and conditions.
  3. Preparation of delay notices in accordance with contract terms.
  4. Processing monthly subcontractor payments.
  5. Picking up and valuing variations.
  6. Settling final accounts with main contractors.
Requirements of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:
  1. Main contracting or previous experience with cladding, glazing or roofing would be an advantage.
  2. Minimum of 5 years Quantity Surveying experience.
