Job OverviewThis role involves designing and delivering engaging and informative Psychology lessons across all year groups, adhering to the National Curriculum and promoting academic excellence and student success. The successful candidate will cultivate a stimulating and supportive learning environment that fosters a love of learning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality Psychology lessons, incorporating a range of teaching methods and resources to engage students and promote academic achievement.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback, identifying areas of strength and weakness and adapting instruction accordingly.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve student motivation and engagement, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Psychology department and contribute to school-wide events, enhancing the educational experience and fostering a sense of community.
- Possesses a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Psychology or a closely related discipline, demonstrating expertise and passion for the subject.
- Demonstrates a strong passion for Psychology and a captivating teaching style, inspiring students to achieve their full potential.
- Excels in communication, interpersonal skills, and classroom management within a diverse learning environment, creating an inclusive and supportive atmosphere.
