Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Construction and Health and Safety Consultant to join our team at Turner & Townsend. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering CDM and H&S consultancy services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver CDM and H&S consultancy services to existing and new clients from our Bristol office.
  • Understand client needs and proactively identify solutions to their challenges.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of service excellence in meeting client needs and expectations.
  • Develop existing systems and processes to improve CDM and H&S efficiency.
  • Provide expert advice and act as Principal Designer as required.
  • Establish positive relations with clients to gain confidence and become a trusted advocate.
  • Represent Turner & Townsend in a professional and diligent manner.
  • Manage commissions to ensure client expectations and business management system requirements are met.
  • Carry out H&S performance reviews and audits on behalf of clients.
  • Liaise with SHQ and colleagues to contribute to team effectiveness.
  • Compile and create relevant pre-construction information and H&S files.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to plan and organise workload to meet deadlines.
  • Good IT skills to generate reports and documents.
  • Solutions driven approach.
  • Creative thinker with excellent client empathy.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience within the Construction Industry, specifically around the CDM Regulations.
  • Experience of a diverse range of industry sectors desired.
  • Experience as a Principal Designer an advantage.
Qualifications
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate (Essential).
  • Full UK driving licence (Essential).
  • NEBOSH Diploma Level (or equivalent) (Desired).
  • GradIOSH or equivalent (Desired).
  • Membership of the APS (Desired).
