At Sling, we're looking for a talented Digital Growth Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our marketing department, you'll be responsible for driving the growth and user acquisition of our app.

About the Role

We're seeking a highly analytical and creative individual who can develop and implement effective growth strategies across various channels, including paid social marketing, lifecycle marketing, customer retention, and loyalty programs.

Your primary objective will be to accelerate organic word-of-mouth growth, build upon that with paid marketing, and help us reach the next stage of exponential growth.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Drive Growth: Develop and execute comprehensive growth strategies that span across organic, viral, and paid channels, with a focus on paid social marketing, lifecycle marketing, customer retention, and loyalty programs.
  2. Experiment Constantly: Lead A/B testing, multivariate testing, and other growth experiments to continually optimize user acquisition, retention, and conversion rates.
  3. Cross-Channel Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate marketing efforts across digital, social media, paid ads, email, and referral programs to build cohesive campaigns.
  4. Analyze and Optimize: Dive deep into campaign performance, measuring key metrics and user behavior to refine growth strategies and make data-driven decisions.
Requirements

We're looking for a seasoned professional with:

  1. Proven track record (5+ years) in growth marketing at a fast-paced startup, preferably in a Series A or early-stage environment.
  2. Experience running paid social (Meta, Google, TikTok, etc) and managing multi-channel campaigns for consumer-facing apps.
  3. Analytical mindset with hands-on experience with A/B testing, multivariate testing, and lifecycle marketing.
  4. Creative thinking and a natural curiosity for trying new approaches.
  5. Collaborative spirit and ability to work closely with a small, dynamic team across functions.
