Primary Education Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teaching Vacancies. The successful candidate will provide exceptional support to our students, particularly those with particular needs, and contribute to the development of a pro-active and supportive culture within the Inclusion Team.
About the RoleThe Teaching Assistant will work closely with teaching staff to create a nurturing environment that fosters academic achievement and personal growth for all students. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a committed team and play a vital role in supporting the school's mission to promote excellence and inclusion.
Responsibilities- Support students with special educational needs in a one-to-one setting or small group
- Assist teaching staff with lesson preparation, delivery, and evaluation
- Monitor and record student progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing targeted support strategies
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers, ensuring they are informed of their child's progress
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of school policies and procedures
This fixed-term position offers a competitive salary ranging from £26,409 to £32,654 per annum, reflecting the level of experience required for the role.
