Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Physiologist to join our team as Cardiac Services Manager/Principal Cardiac Physiologist at Duchy Hospital, Truro. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and contribute to the development of our elective cardiology service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Cardiology Service, including capacity planning, patient issues, and non-clinical support staff.
  • Support consultants and clinical team members, including dealing with queries and managing clinical activity.
  • Participate in the provision of cardiac procedures in the outpatient setting, including ECHO accreditation.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery and patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Professional accreditation with BSE and/or HRUK/IBHRE is essential.
  • Experience in managing a team, including staff management, clinical activity, and communication across disciplines.
  • Ability to work under pressure and effectively manage the team.
