Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Physiologist to join our team as Cardiac Services Manager/Principal Cardiac Physiologist at Duchy Hospital, Truro. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the 'Team Duchy' and contribute to the development of the elective cardiology service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Cardiology Service, including capacity and demand, patient issues, and non-clinical support staff.
  • Support consultants, clinical members, and non-clinical staff in their roles.
  • Participate in the provision of cardiac procedures in the outpatient setting.
  • ECHO accreditation is essential for the role.
Requirements
  • Professional accreditation with BSE and/or HRUK/IBHRE is necessary.
  • Competence in non-invasive investigations, such as stress echo, treadmills, and pacemaker FU, is advantageous.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage a team, and communicate effectively.
