We are a dynamic digital media company that invests in and scales creators with an established YouTube presence. Our mission is to turn creators into global media businesses by building teams, scaling the production and distribution of their content and introducing new revenue streams across platforms.

We acquire between 50% and 100% of creator businesses with an established YouTube presence. We are building a decentralized global team to power our business and are looking for A-players that share our vision and values and want to play a part in driving the business forward on its exciting journey.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in video production, predominantly in the digital, YouTube and social space. They will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of producers, production managers, videographers, editors, production assistants, and other production staff. The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to take the initiative and manage multiple concurrent tasks and projects with a number of deliverables.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with post-production workflows and cloud-based media asset management between teams across multiple locations. They will also have excellent English written and spoken skills, as well as a clear and concise communication style balanced with tact and diplomacy required to nurture talent, build relationships and drive results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the overall video production strategy aligned with the company's goals and growth plans.
  • Refine, implement and oversee all aspects of the production process, across all Electrify channels and projects from pre-production planning to post-production editing and distribution.
  • Manage production schedules, budgets, and resources efficiently to ensure timely delivery of high-quality videos.
  • Oversee selection of and management of third-party production partners, third-party licenses and production needs including software and kit, including the use of AI within our workflows.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years video production experience, predominantly in the digital, YouTube and social space.
  • Success in this role relies on an expert understanding of the digital video media industry and an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the production process, including post-production.
  • Experience of production team leadership across digital content teams, with a management style that inspires, nurtures and develops talent.
  • Experience delivering a large number of assets at regular cadence for digital content brands across social platforms, with deep understanding of how to scale efficiently.
