About the Role

MHA is seeking a highly skilled Resource Planning Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective deployment and utilization of our resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with Partners, Directors, and Managers to understand client and project resource requirements.
  • Drive utilization and advise stakeholders on resourcing solutions and best practices.
  • Identify resourcing solutions that factor in client needs and individual skills.
  • Manage conflicting demands on resources to achieve the best and most profitable outcomes for the business and clients.
  • Maintain and administer work planners.
  • Provide administrative support for all aspects of the resourcing process.
  • Ensure clients receive the best teams of people, combining industry experience with technical knowledge for maximum commercial advantage.
  • Strategically manage staff talent, considering career development needs and aligning them to engagement experiences.
  • Liaise, influence, and challenge effectively to build relationships at all levels and with multiple stakeholders.
  • Identify and negotiate the release of suitable resources to cope with team needs when new work is won or project/job timings change.
  • Support the International and national secondment program.
  • Analyze weekly utilization reports, supporting the Resource Manager with conversations around utilization benchmarks and non-chargeable hours.
  • Report and forecast workforce utilization, making strategic resource deployment decisions to maximize utilization.
  • Support the Resource Manager and wider business with the onboarding of contingent workers.
  • Support Resource Manager with training and employee deployment.
  • Be accountable for identifying process improvements.
Requirements
  • Highly confident, skilled verbal and written communicator with great attention to detail.
  • Previous experience within professional services would be highly advantageous.
  • Ability to interact effectively with empathy, impact, and discretion, cultivating trusted advisor working relationships with Business Unit leadership, key stakeholders, practitioners, team members, and the wider resource management function.
  • Commercial mindset.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize, multitask, and manage a significant workload under pressure.
  • Strong relationship management experience: ability to interact, influence, and negotiate with people at all levels.
  • Strong organization and time management skills with excellent administration skills.
  • A proactive attitude towards change and ongoing focus on improvement.
  • Ability to influence strategic resourcing, training, and recruitment decisions through presentation of information that is timely and informative.
