About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHSFT. As a Senior Healthcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support in our Outpatient Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide hands-on care and assistance to patients and their relatives
  • Perform phlebotomy, PICC and Port access and care
  • Assist clinicians with endoscopic procedures, cleaning, safe handling and storage of endoscopes
  • Observe, record and report patient information
  • Prepare for clinics and maintain high standards of documentation and record keeping
Requirements
  • Good general education and literacy and numeracy skills
  • Working towards or prepared to work towards obtaining an apprenticeship in clinical healthcare
  • National Care Certificate
  • Level 3 Senior Healthcare Support Worker (desirable)
