Pulse Nursing Job Offer: Band 5 Midwife

We are pleased to offer a competitive salary of £40,594 per year for our Band 5 Midwife position in Sandwell and Birmingham NHS Hospitals. This role is perfect for experienced midwives who want to continue growing and developing their skills in a truly rewarding environment.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals in a leading NHS teaching trust. The midwifery team provides high-quality care to all women during their in-patient stay, and you will play a key part in delivering exceptional care to our patients.

About the Role

You will lead the care for low-risk women, promoting normal birthing processes and working collaboratively with colleagues to support women with complex needs. You will also report to the Team/Midwifery Manager and maintain a professional and approachable demeanor when interacting with patients.

  • Develop close relationships with patients to understand their needs and preferences
  • Deliver culturally competent care and conduct comprehensive health assessments
  • Advocate for women and their families by respecting their informed decisions and planning evidence-based care
  • Promote healthy behaviors and provide education to parents
