Vehicle Examiner

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Inspector to join our team at Adecco. As a Vehicle Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting private hire vehicles to ensure they meet the Council's compliance criteria.

• Inspect private hire vehicles to ensure they meet the Council's compliance criteria.
• Ensure that services within the vehicles are undertaken and completed within given timescales.
• Plan and organize your work and coordinate with other team members.
• Ensure effective recording and handover systems for all Business Support Unit tasks.
• Work flexibly to support the work of all services within the Business Support Units.
• Respond to specific enquiries and complaints from staff or members of the public.
• Ensure that working environments and equipment are safe and in good working order.
• Provide administrative assistance to support the work of the Services supported by the Business Support Units.
• Assist in the provision and preparation of information and documentation in support of specific project activities.

Requirements:

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities.
• Basic IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
