Job Title: Vehicle Examiner

We are seeking a detail-oriented Vehicle Examiner to join our team at Adecco. As a Vehicle Examiner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with the Council's criteria for private hire vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections of private hire vehicles to ensure compliance with the Council's criteria.
• Coordinate and plan your work effectively, collaborating with other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Maintain accurate and organised records to support the Business Support Unit's tasks.
• Provide administrative assistance to various services within the organisation, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
• Respond to inquiries and complaints, addressing them in line with established procedures.
• Ensure a safe working environment and functioning equipment when required.
• Assist in the preparation and provision of information for specific project activities, including data gathering and record keeping.
• Support the inputting and updating of records in relevant databases.

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to compliance criteria.
• Excellent coordination and problem-solving skills.

Pay Rate: £12.59 per hour

Shift Pattern: 8.30 am - 4.30 pm or 1 pm - 9 pm
