We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Researcher to join our team at BAE Systems Digital Intelligence. As a Cyber Researcher, you will play a critical role in defending our clients against cyber threats and financial crime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct exploratory research to identify and assess new domains and technologies.
  • Provide domain knowledge for technical analysis, experimental development, and subsequent engineering.
  • Develop, assess, and prioritize prototype and simulated capabilities.
Requirements
  • Intermediate/advanced understanding of how computers work, including knowledge of the heap and stack, compiled and interpreted languages.
  • Technical writing and presentation skills.
  • Innovative problem-solving and team-working abilities.
  • Scripting skills, including Python.
  • Rapid development of prototypes or simulations, including C#.
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Network traffic analysis.
  • Reverse engineering.
  • Vulnerability analysis.
  • Exploit development.
  • OSINT and interacting with SMEs.
  • Developing new research skills as appropriate.
