We have an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Yorkshire Region, working across our West Yorkshire sites consisting of HMP Leeds Category B remand, HMP Wakefield Category A, and HMP Wealstun Category C. Within this role, you will be working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team across all 3 sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent clinical care, assessment, and treatment to patients on the case load onsite.
- Actively participate in the strategic direction of the mental health service, lead the senior mental health clinicians on service developments, and provide clinical supervision.

Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.
Requirements:
- Registered professional with current registration (GMC).
- Specialist Registration in either General Adult or Forensic Psychiatry.
- Approved under section 12 (2) of the MHS 1983.
- Understanding of the complexities of multidisciplinary and multi-agency working.
- Up-to-date knowledge in adult psychiatry and PD Awareness.
- Awareness of current issues in mental health service provision, policy, and legislation.
