We are currently recruiting for a Wealth Management firm based in Leighton Buzzard, who require a Level 4 qualified Financial Paraplanner to provide support to the financial advisers in relation to client servicing matters.

The successful candidate will report to the Operations Director and be expected to work alongside the existing administration and paraplanning team. The responsibilities of this role include preparing paperwork, producing Suitability Letters, and communicating directly with clients.

Key requirements for this position include being Level 4 Diploma qualified (or actively working towards this qualification) with at least 2 years' paraplanning experience. Excellent client communication skills and the ability to identify opportunities to further enhance the client's financial wellbeing are also essential.

A competitive salary is offered for this role, estimated to be around £30,000 per annum, taking into account the company's market rate and industry standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of paperwork for initial meetings, recommendation meetings, and review meetings on behalf of the relevant Financial Adviser
  • Production of Suitability Letters in a timely manner, as requested by the relevant Financial Adviser
  • Direct communication with clients; verbally, in writing, and sometimes face-to-face
  • Checking of compliance documentation to ensure client files are up-to-date and in order
  • Liaison with the administration team in relation to new business that requires processing

Requirements:

  • Applicants should be Level 4 Diploma qualified (or actively working towards this qualification) with at least 2 years' paraplanning experience
  • Excellent client communication skills and the ability to identify opportunities to further enhance the client's financial wellbeing
  • Experience of using MS Office package, Intelligent Office (or similar), and research tools such as O&M and Dynamic Planner
  • A positive 'can-do' attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Accurate, with a high standard of attention to detail
